Linking to ...Pink Saturday
Talking about flowers and plants, my spring bulbs were beginning to peek out - we had had some lovely days, with warm temps of about 10 degrees Celsius (=50 degrees Fahrenheit) and guess what...we got up yesterday morning - ground covered in sever frost and it was -2 degrees all day ...hope my precious bulbs survive..! My hyacinth on the kitchen window sill is doing great, its the ones outside I am worried about!!
Mr Jack Frost, I am willing to give up a weeks wages to get you a one way ticket outta here!!!!

Cool flower, love the longevity of the blooms! I'll add to the kitty to have winter leave sooner than later:@)

I wish we could grow flowers like that here. They are very pretty. I would love to see any part of Africa, but too old now.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual flower but the spiderweb photo was something else. Happy Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Donnie, that spiderweb is so intriguing, as is the flower. Happy Pink Saturday :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous share. I love this gorgeous Protea. I wonder if it would grow here in Phoenix in the desert. I am always looking for new flowers to plant. I love my gardens with the flowers. It makes for such a peaceful place to stroll.
I am Country Wings in Phoenix your newest follower. I can't wait to see what you share next. Please stop over and let me share my post with you. I would love to have you follow me as well. I love meeting new friends and sharing our days along the way.

ReplyDeleteA very unusual flower. The south has so many interesting plants that won't grow north where it is cold.
